WELCOME to SISTERS GARDEN CLUB!
The Sisters Garden Club was founded in 1988, with 13 original members. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The goals of our club are to stimulate knowledge and enjoyment of gardening, aid in the protection of native plants and wildlife and encourage the planting of civic gardens in Sisters.
Our primary annual fundraising event is the Quilts in the Garden Tour. The Tour takes place during the week of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. Proceeds from this event are used to support local non-profits that embrace our goals. Over the years, we have fulfilled grant requests totaling more than $60,000. Grant recipients include Seed to Table, Kiwanis Food Bank, Sisters Community Garden, Sisters School District and Upper Deschutes Watershed Council.
Due to State and Local health restrictions, we have not been able to enjoy gathering together at monthly member meetings. As conditions improve in 2021, we hope to be able to host a few modified member meetings in an appropriate outdoor setting.
Yearly dues are $20 per person or $30 per family. However, we have currently suspended any dues payment requirement. The general public is always welcome to attend our meetings.
